Generative AI: Limits and Vision
Session Overview
In this talk, Dr. Julia examines what generative AI really is—and isn’t—and outlines how we should adopt and use it going forward. AI doesn’t replace human creativity; it’s a powerful tool. From that perspective, he explains how generative systems work and the real limits we face today, including data bias, errors and hallucinations, lack of explainability, and energy consumption.
He also shares a forward-looking vision: how to build human-centered design principles, verifiable operating practices, responsible use, and strategies that consider sustainability.
Attendees will leave with a grounded understanding of how to govern and deploy generative AI in organizations and industries—along with the opportunities and risks to watch for.
