Rasmus Ekman is Vice President of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for Japan and Asia Pacific.
He works with organizations across the region to build and scale AI infrastructure,
from emerging AI companies to some of the world's largest technology businesses.
With more than two decades of experience spanning Oracle, Amazon Web Services,
Microsoft and IBM, Rasmus brings a rare perspective across multiple generations
of cloud computing. His work has taken him across Japan, Europe and the United States,
advising customers and technology partners on cloud architecture, AI infrastructure,
performance, economics and large-scale deployment.
Rasmus is particularly interested in how organizations can scale AI without surrendering
strategic control. His work focuses on the intersection of infrastructure engineering,
global capacity, open technology and sovereign deployment — helping customers decide
what should differentiate them, where partnership can accelerate them, and how to preserve
choice as technology and regulation evolve.
